It's safe to say that Jesus was the heretic in the Gospels. He defied the Rabbinical Judaism and Roman Politics of his day and, instead, showed us The Way back to the Father. It cost him his life. The life and teachings of Jesus are remarkably practical, simple, and life-changing; yet, too many who claim to be his followers simply don't listen and obey.

My intention was never to leave Protestantism, but my questions and studies eventually meant I had to. My studies of scripture and also church history put me in contact with the Reformation movement known as "Anabaptism." Though very diverse, "The Anabaptists" in general were discontented with the slow-moving "reforms" of their contemporaries. They understood that in order to achieve a more pure faith and practice they had to return to the life and teachings of Jesus. Their efforts inspired me to continue my own "radical reforms." As my church history studies continued, I was introduced to a more ancient sect of Jesus followers known as "The Ebionites."

I'm just another heretic.

Repent and believe the Gospel, for the Kingdom of Heaven and of God is at hand.

Fear God and keep His Commandments.
